After trying the strawberry mousse cake, and upon request by my husband for a strawberry shortcake, decided to give it a try, using the sponge cake recipe that I used for strawberry mousse for this strawberry shortcake.
The result is good.. even my brother thought that I bought it. However, I will still need to improve on my presentation of the cake.
Chocolate Fudge Cake
I have all along wanted to try baking a chocolate fudge cake and thank you for the recipe that I found at Kitchen Capers, I decided to give it a go.
I was too eager to let my family try the cake thus did not manage to take a picture of the whole cake. However, I think this fudge cake is easier to smoothen than the strawberry shortcake. Nonetheless, though the cake turns out well, personally I think my area for improvement is still the presentation of the cake.
